Understanding your vision and space

Dee only considers her project a success when her clients are truly happy. She understands the emotional investment and connection people have with their space and carefully goes about her role to encapsulate her client's vision in her art. That's why she gives tremendous emphasis on the discovery phase. Dee likes to connect with her clients and thoroughly understand their design goals before starting. Then, Dee will take her time to explore the space she will be working in to make sure she doesn't miss any opportunities with transforming it.

Research

Exploring styles and materials

Once Dee has understood her client's goals, she begins her quest in finding the best styles and material to reflect them. This involves many trips to home decor and supply stores, piles of collected samples, drafts and drafts of color palette runs and many meetings with vendors. Dee makes sure that whatever she chooses will complement your style and be stunning and functional at the same time.

Design

This is the best part! Now armed with your style and her research, Dee crawls into her design cave and carves out sketch after sketch of interpretations, each time trying to tackle the space from a different angle to make sure she is giving it due diligence. Once she feels right about a few options, Dee presents them to her client with the color palette and material samples to help them visualize. She insists that the meeting be at the space to be decorated to help her client immerse themselves into the design.

Implementation

Installing and Transforming

Only after her clients are fully convinced and satisfied with the design does Dee begin implementation. She takes care of everything; procuring material, managing installation, putting in final touches, and making sure you love it. She likes to give her clients sneak peeks from time to time to get them excited about their project, but also likes to save some suspense for a final grand reveal. The best part is watching her clients' faces when they see their space transformed and lively.
